This test requires a blood-draw. Our office offers private phlebotomy.
Measures response to mold via lymphocyte activity. Useful for suspected short-term and longterm exposures for most molds.
Note that some molds (trichothecenes) can cause suppression of lymphocytes, which would result in a false negative. That is why this test isn’t the be all end all for mold testing. MyMycoLab is currently the gold standard, however, if unaffordable we might consider this test in it’s place.
